Independent roofing came quickly to our call for help at the Commerce Center Building.
Last month a deluge of rainfall caused a serious leak in the roof of our entrance way.
Employees Jason Neumeier and Jeff Kolich spent two days repairing our roof. After completing the roof job, they then went the extra mile by powerwashing our building.
“The flashings had rotten and it was ponding water,” said Jason Neumeier. “We took the old membrane off and put in some tapered insualtion so it would drain properly.”
Neumeier said once they finished fixing the roof, Vickie Micheau at the Chamber asked if they had a pressure washer to clean the building.
“It was nasty. There was a lot of dead spiders and such,” Neumeier said.
Neumeier went “off the clock” to help the Chamber clean the building.
With big smiles and great customer service they repaired and beautified our Commerce Center.
Jolene Polkey joins Chamber staff
Jane Polkey has been hired by the Delta Chamber to be the special events coordinator. She will hold the position until it is filled permanently.
“They are so busy here with the fair that they needed extra help with the PWT the following week. Right on the heels of that is the RCL fishing tournament”, she said.
Although a new positon, it is hardly a new job. Jalene and her husand, Tom, have been working the area tournaments for 15 years.
