Be Your Own Boss www.michigan.gov/beyourownboss The state has launched a new website to help entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses in Michigan. The website, Be Your Own Boss, makes it easier for prospective and current business owners to find good information for all stages of business development, from start-up to finding skilled workers and sources of financing. The site also makes it easier for businesses to understand which government regulations they may need to comply with and which licenses may be required. The site was built with the urging and participation of many people both inside and outside of state government, including SBAM, the Governor's Council of Economic Advisors, the Council for Labor & Economic Growth, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and the Michigan Small Business Technology Development Centers. We encourage you to check out the Be Your Own Boss website at www.michigan.gov/beyourownboss for easy access to the many entrepreneurial resources available across state government to all business owners. |
