"It Pays to Belong" ...is more than a catchy phrase to describe the advantage of membership. Members in the Accident Fund Insurance Company of American's workers compensation program were "paid" a shared total of $131,900 this year for their participation.
This member benefit, a share in the dividends based on the loss experience of the group, is in addition to the competitive rates on an otherwise expensive but necessary coverage. In some instances, the dividend more than covered the annual Chamber dues investment. In addition to their already competitive rates, the Accident Fund of America also gives a 5% discount on workers compensation premiums to clients who belong to the chamber of Commerce.
