Oct 19 – Black Ice

Everyone knows that hockey is a vital aspect of Canadian identity.  But unknown to most is how internal racism has affected players of color, denying them opportunity and entry into the sport throughout its history.  This Canadian documentary uses interviews, history, news footage, and more to weave history to today’s NFL.  RogerEbert.com calls the film “an icebreaking expose.”
