Encaustic Collage

In this class at the Bonifas Arts Center on October 9th we will focus on collage. April South-Olson will teach you to arrange a collection of items on a wooden panel using encaustic wax paints to hold everything in place. After you’ve signed up for the class, April encourages you to start collecting various materials such as photographs, pieces of paper, ticket stub mementos, or fabrics for possible items to use in your artwork. There will be scraps of watercolor paintings, tea bags, and other papers on hand for fillers so it is not necessary to bring your own materials.  Ages: Teen & Adult; Cost $40 member/$47 non-member
