Our Mission

To be a community leader in fostering a healthy business environment. To promote integrity, good faith, and fair business practices. To represent business interests and issues affecting the community.

To support initiatives that make Delta County a better community to live in and do business.

Delta Force Leadership Program

Delta Force Class of 2023 is now being selected.
The objective of Delta Force is to identify participants with potential for community leadership; acquaint these leaders with community issues, resources and opportunities; increase the leadership skills of program participants; provide participants with opportunities to network and exchange ideas with each other and community leaders; assist participants in finding volunteer roles in the community; and encourage graduates to continue their involvement by participating in community service programs.

Business After Hours

Monthly Networking Event. Enjoy food, beverages and networking opportunities.

Fire & Ice

Fire & Ice is a Delta County gala event, famous for abundant prizes, great auction items and a good time. The evening offers the perfect party atmosphere where fun is the only item on the agenda. Attendance, sponsorship and donations are a great way to gain exposure for your business in 2023.
Fire & Ice is the driving force behind many of the community promotions and events the Chamber supports. The funds raised are used to promote the membership and to provide you with quality services and networking.

Celebrating Our New Home

Thanks to the John & Melissa Besse Foundation’s generous donation of $1 million and a $500,000 grant from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), we are within $500,000 of completing this vital project.

Through community support, we received the MEDC matching grant! That means the $50,000 generously donated turned into $100,000 for the UP Welcome Center, Commerce Center Organizations, & the Webster Marble’s Inventing the Outdoors Museum!
